Supporting Our
Community Together
We can connect hearts, transform lives and foster a sense of belonging for everyone
Our Core Initiatives
Empowering change for a brighter tomorrow
Vision
To develop leadership capacity among women associated with groups, thereby making them economically, culturally, and socially empowered. This, in turn, creates a safe and healthy environment in society and improves their standard of living.
Structure
and Concept
In rural areas, the existence of strong community networks has been recognized as one of the most important elements of credit linkages. This recognition gave rise to the concept of Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These groups assist the poor in accessing credit and thus play a significant role in poverty alleviation.
Objective
We aim to empower women by enhancing their economic, social, and cultural status through livelihood opportunities, financial inclusion, and access to welfare schemes. By strengthening self-help groups, promoting health, education, and skills, and building leadership, we foster self-reliance, decision-making, and sustainable community development.
Our Approach
We believe in community-driven change, where solutions come from the people themselves. Our approach is participatory and inclusive:
-
Women come together in SHGs to save, borrow, and invest collectively.
-
Training programs are organized to build skills and confidence.
-
Linkages with banks and government schemes ensure access to resources.
-
Continuous mentoring and handholding create long-term sustainability.

Empowering Women, EnrichingCommunities
Building self-reliance and leadership among rural women through unity, skills, and opportunities.
Saheli Pragati Mahila Sarvangi Vikas Sahakari Samiti Ltd. is more than an organization – it is a movement of women, led by women, for women. Rooted in the soil of Dholpur, Rajasthan, we work across 63 villages, transforming not just individual lives but entire communities.
We believe that true empowerment begins with self-reliance. Our journey started with a simple yet powerful idea: when women come together in unity, they create a collective strength that can break barriers, fight poverty, and bring lasting change. This idea took shape through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), where women not only save and borrow but also dream, plan, and act together.
